Mackay Airport is continuing to push for direct flights to the Gold Coast as the mining industry and wider region voice their support.
Representatives of Mackay Airport, Mackay Regional Council, Gold Coast City Council and Gold Coast Airport are meeting in Mackay tomorrow to discuss the issue along with mining services contractor Mastermyne.
