Renewing your current ASIC
If you currently hold an ASIC issued by Mackay Airport and wish to renew due to upcoming expiry of your card, you are required to complete the ASIC Application Form (as per ASIC Applications above) as you did before. You will need to bring in this completed form along with your ID and payment and lodge at the Mackay Airport Administration Office. Be prepared to have a current photo taken.
NOTE: ASIC renewals must be lodged 4 – 6 weeks prior to your ASIC expiry
If you are a holder of an ASIC issued by another Issuing Body and want to obtain a Mackay Airport ASIC you will be required to apply for an ASIC by completing the ASIC Application form.
Returning your ASIC
If there is no operational requirement for you to retain your ASIC, it must be returned to the Mackay Airport Administration Office within 30 days. On return of your ASIC, the refund of your security deposit will be organised.
When your ASIC expires it must be returned to the Mackay Airport Administration Office or penalties may apply.
LOST / STOLEN / DESTROYED ASICs
If your ASIC is Lost /Stolen or Destroyed you will need to inform the Mackay Airport Administration Office within 7 days and provide a completed Statutory Declaration.
