All inductees (including all airport staff, contractors and subcontractors) undertaking any works at or for Mackay Airport Pty Ltd (MAPL) must obtain a MAPL issued Induction certificate prior to carrying out any works or maintenance activities on the Airport campus. To obtain a MAPL issued Certificate, applicants must complete the Mackay Airport online site induction. The induction is competency based and provides a set of rules/regulations for inductee’s. This certificate or ID Card must be displayed at all times during airport works.
New inductees requesting a Mackay Airport Site induction must:

- Choose a username and password,
- Select “Register” and follow the on-screen prompts (one login per person).
Upon registration an automatic email will be sent to MAPL to activate your details.
Log in details and instructions will be emailed to the address provided, allowing you to complete the induction.
On successful completion of the induction, the contractor must print and carry the certificate of completion on site until a contractor card is obtained from MAPL (if required).
The Mackay Airport induction is valid for 2 years from issue date of certificate.
A renewal email request will be sent to the email address which was nominated at the time of the initial induction. This will be sent 14 days prior to expiry, advising that renewal is required. Your log in details, including a temporary password will be included in this email.
On successful completion of the induction, the inductee/contractor must print and carry their “Certificate of Completion” on site until a new contractor card is obtained from MAPL (if required).
